Intown Field Closure/Game Cancellation Info
In case of bad/questionable weather, you can check here to find the status of the Pepperell Fields. The sun icon implies fields are open and the rain icon implies fields are closed for games and/or practice.
PRACTICES: Field closure for practices usually affect the start of the spring season and anytime we have prolonged soaking rains. If fields are open then the coaches is the one who decides as to whether to hold or cancel practice. Always check with a coach when in doubt.
GAMES: For Sundays which is Intown game day, check here to find out whether or not games are being played.
U6 games
will be called off no later than 10:30 AM.
U8 games will be called off no later than 12:15 PM.
U8 games
will be called off no later than 2:00 PM.
Please note that the rain icon can change to sun if the weather improves so…Rule
of thumb is games are called an hour prior to kick off or practice start in the
U6 case. Therefore, if you see sun icon after 12:15 for your 1:15 game then it is
safe to assume GAME ON.
Coaches will not know field conditions prior to these times, but feel free to check with them if in doubt after the posted times.
